About EQOLOGY
EQOLOGY ASA is a public limited liability company incorporated under the laws of Norway on 26 August 2010 with the objective to own and operate its two subsidiaries EQOLOGY AS and eShop Holding AS.
The two businesses were demerged from Nordic Health ASA with effect from 26 August 2010. eShop Holding AS supports EQOLOGY AS which represents the business of the group.
Through it's wholly owned subsidiary, EQOLOGY AS, EQOLOGY ASA has a history back to 1998, when the company Shine was founded.
Today EQOLOGY AS has 20 employees and about 500 independent distributors serving approximately 15,000 members and 35,000 customers in the Nordic market. EQOLOGY ASA’s headquarter is at Høvik, Norway and the company has an additional logistics centre in Helsingborg, Sweden from which the EU-distribution takes place.
EQOLOGY markets and sells natural nutrition and skin care products in the Nordic market directly to the consumer through its network of independent distributors. EQOLOGY branded nutrition products represents the company’s core business. All research and development of new sales products under the EQOLOGY umbrella takes place in close cooperation with the company’s production partners.
eShop Holding AS is owned 95,5% by EQOLOGY ASA, but for the time being does not have any operations besides supporting EQOLOGY. Today all activities in EQOLOGY ASA takes place in EQOLOGY AS.
The Nordic market for nutrition has grown the last decade, but showed a flat development the last year. The segment for direct sellers, however, is still growing. EQOLOGY ASA is dedicated towards direct sales and has gained extensive experience and competence within this segment. The objective is to become the leading direct seller of nutrition in the Nordic marketplace.
